Caregiver Program

The Caregiver Program provides a pathway for individuals with experience in caring for children, the elderly, or people with high medical needs to work and eventually become permanent residents in Canada.

At Odogwu Immigration, we assist eligible caregivers in navigating this immigration route—whether you are applying from within Canada or from abroad.

Available Caregiver Pathways

There are two main caregiver immigration pilots currently available:

  1. Home Child Care Provider Pilot
  2. Home Support Worker Pilot

Both programs offer an opportunity to:

  • Work in Canada with an employer-specific or open work permit.
  • Gain required work experience (2 years) in a caregiving occupation.
  • Apply for permanent residence after meeting the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, you generally must:

  • Have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer.
  • Meet the language proficiency requirement (CLB 5 or higher).
  • Have completed at least one year of post-secondary education.
  • Show relevant caregiving experience or training.
  • Be admissible to Canada.

At Odogwu Immigration, we support you by:

  • Reviewing your eligibility and credentials.
